My Tummy Talks About: Ouest
So, this is where we went for our Valentine's Day dinner last night, and man was it yummy! Almost completely filled with oldies -- a nice change from Brooklyn -- no one was screaming, pissing themselves, or talking on cell phones. In fact, they actually ask you to turn those off. Ugh. Oh, the food was totally rad too. Seriously. I have only good thoughts about this place, and have to say that a lot of the time, going out to dinner on V Day is a bust because restaurants are so over-burdened or whatever, but these peeps were totally business-as-usual unimpressed, and it was totally awesome to be treated like a real human being for once. Service was great, all that shit. No fucking around. Laters.
Ouest is at 2315 Broadway. Eat there.

My Tummy Talks About: The BelAire Diner
Seriously, just go here. The menu is about 400 pages long, it's kinda pricy for a diner, but you can get anything you want at anytime of day. I wasn't sold on it for the first 3 years, but I've had a renaissance. This place rules.
The BelAire Diner is at 3191 21st St in Long Island City, A/K/A "Astoria, Queens."
