G'mroning
It's Official. Wonkette messed up my dress.

Hey guys, I'm not gonna lie. I've been reading Wonkette for about a fucking decade. Yeah, it makes me piss my pants roughly three times a day. I always sorta chalked it up to genetically inherited incontinence, I'll be honest.
Turns out I was totally buggin' and this shit is dope enough to make anyone mess their dress.
Several examples follow.
Here they say just what I was thinkin' 'bout him mentionin' the cuts.
Here they refer to our incumbent by his first name and it's LOL.
Here their hobo prediction that hobo stocks will rise proves to be scarrifingly prescient.
And HERE IS JUST LOLS.

So, wait

this is news? John McCain will, in fact, show up for something he previously committed to 100 years ago? Let me get this straight... John McCain will come to this thing that every presidential candidate could make it to in ever? Wait. McCain can come to the debate? But I thought he was really busy fixin' Warshington with Annie Oakley and the boys? Isn't there any fixin' to be done on a Friday night? Wait. So you're telling me, that John McCain is going to debate... at the debate? Well, I never.

Pi Rewind: Love Apple Pizza

So... the second installment of Pi Rewind happened last night. I kind of fell off the idea as soon as it started because I had a feeling it would be really awful for my diet... but... my diet was pretty successful, so I feel comfortable cooking food that's terrible for us again. Actually, so far as I can tell, this pizza is pretty good for you-- good ingredients, with just a little oil. The original recipe was very spicy, and also had sauteed shrimp. I left both of those things out.
DOUGH
I made it a little different than last time. Because I was also using a 14 x 9 rectangle baking pan, I made a big recipe.
In 2 cups of water, mix in about 1 tbsp sugar. Sprinkle 2 packages of active dry yeast on there, and let it sit for ten minutes. Mix in 2 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp salt, and 4 1/2 cups of white all purpose flour. Stir. I mixed all this in a giant stainless steel bowl, and then kneaded it right in that bowl, adding a little more flour as I went to my hands and the bowl to rid the dough of stickiness. This worked really beautifully and was pretty mess free. I kneaded for about 10 minutes. Olive oil in the 14 x 9, then some cornstarch, pull the dough into the right shape, and bake at 425 for ten minutes.
FOR THE TOPPING
Slice 2 large white onions-- I make pretty large sized slices, and put them in the biggest stainless skillet you have. Heat with 1 tbsp olive oil on high heat (like I do everything). Add in 1 tsp brown sugar or so once they have started to brown, and keep stirring. Add in about 12 diced roma tomatoes and keep sauteeing, adding a bit more olive oil if you need to, then add about 1 cup roasted red peppers, and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Salt and pepper generously as you stir. Keep cooking until the mixture starts to soften down, but don't over cook it.
Oil the pizza crust a bit, sprinkle with provolone cheese, then spoon the topping on there, add some parsley on top (and some red pepper flakes if you want a bit of spice), and cook for about 25 minutes.
It turned out fucking amazing. Not kidding.

Guns N Roses: Their value is apparently still hotly debated
So sure, today I was looking up some lyrics to "Civil War," and that led to the Wikipedia entry that the song (rightly and hilariously) has,

And no, I couldn't have said this better myself:
... which led me to a forum... and... well, see for yourself... fuckers.

Fox News has hired a new graphics guy, I guess

He really fucking rocks the triptych.
And from last night...
Note: McCain always goes on the left, Obama on the right.
